The business community has urged the United Nations to play its role for fair solution of the Kashmir issue and force India to enforce the UNO's resolutions regarding plebiscite right for the Kashmiri people. Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) Chairman Mian Nauman Kabir in a statement on Tuesday said the business community fully supports the Kashmir cause and wants its peaceful solution according to the UN resolutions.

India cannot deprive the Kashmiris of their fundamental right through state oppression for longer time; he said, adding that Kashmir is top priority of Pakistan's national policy.

If India wants peace in region and promotes trade with Pakistan then it is a must to resolve the Kashmir issue, Kabir added.

PIAF Senior Vice Chairman Nasir Hameed Khan and Vice Chairman Javed Iqbal Siddiqui said that the business community would continue to raise its voice against the Indian army's aggression in Kashmir. Condemning the arrest of Kashmir leaders and violation of the Line of Control, the PIAF office-bearers said that now the time has come for the international comity to play its role for the peaceful

resolution of Kashmir issue so that plebiscite right could be given to the Kashmiri people.

They said the independence move would continue till the time Kashmir becomes part of Pakistan.

"We can bear price hike, increase in the petroleum prices and load-shedding but cannot compromise on Kashmir cause," he added.
